ROSC is a system transformation initiative being led by Florida\u2019s Department of Children and Families (DCF) to establish an integrated, values based recovery oriented system of care where recovery is expected and achieved through meaningful partnerships and shared decision making with individuals, communities and systems.<\/p>\n<p>This version of the SAPT includes the following revisions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updated language to reflect the latest developments in the field of recovery-oriented services.\u00a0\u00a0Consumers of services are referred to as persons receiving services, unless referring to a peer delivered service.<\/li>\n<li>The expansion\u00a0of resources specific to the needs of substance abuse agencies.<\/li>\n<li>The Recovery Self-Assessment is used in place of the Recovery Oriented System Indicator (ROSI) as the measure of peer outcomes (O&#8217;Connell, M., Tondora, J., Croog, G., Evans, A., Davidson, L., 2005).<\/li>\n<li>Updated resources in the SAPT Planning and Implementation Guide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Self-Assessment\/Planning Tool for Implementing Recovery-Oriented Mental Health Services (SAPT): Version 2.0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The SAPT V2.0 defines key policies and practices of recovery-oriented mental health services.\u00a0 It includes a 50-item survey to track performance in key areas of recovery-oriented services implementation, in addition to a planning\/implementation guide to support quality improvement strategies.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/saptrecovery.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Winarski_Self-Assessment-Planning-Tool-for-Implementing-Recover-v2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">SAPT V2.0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Study of the Efficacy of the Self-Assessment\/Planning Tool for Implementing Recovery-Oriented Mental Health Services (SAPT) for Supporting Positive Consumer Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This document describes the implementation of the SAPT and ROSI surveys as part of a pilot study at five Florida mental health service provider agencies to determine the relationship between the two instruments (Winarski &amp; Dow, 2010).<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/saptrecovery.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/efficacyof_sapt_2010.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Efficacy of SAPT 2010<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Self-Assessment\/Planning Tool for Implementing Recovery-Oreinted Mental Health Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This document describes Version 1.0 of the SAPT and findings from a pilot study with Florida mental health service provider agencies that informed the development of SAPT Version 2.0 (Winarski, Dow, Hendry, Robinson, &amp; Peters, 2009).<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/saptrecovery.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/SAPT-Recovery-Winarski-2009.pdf\">SAPT Recovery Winarski 2009<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recovery-Oreinted Medicaid Services for Adults with Severe Mental Illness Part I<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This doument describes the first phase of a two part sudy that examined the delivery of reocvery-oriented services in Florida from the perspective of both staff and consumers (Winarski, Thomas, Dhont, &amp; Ort, 2006).<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/saptrecovery.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Recovery-Study-Pt-1-Winarski.pdf\">Recovery Study Pt 1 Winarski<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recovery-Oreinted Medicaid Services for Adults with Severe Mental illness Part II<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This document describes the second phase of a two part study that examined Florida&#8217;s system readiness to implement recovery-oriented services in relationship to guidelines, standards and finance structures that are emerging in the mental health field (Winarski, Thomas, &amp; DeLuca, 2007).<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/saptrecovery.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Recovery-Study-Pt-2-Winarski.pdf\">Recovery Study Pt 2 Winarski<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>SAPT Presentation at USPRA Annual Conference in Boise, ID &#8211; June 15, 2010<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/saptrecovery.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/USPRA-2010-Conference-Presentation-SAPT-Winarski-FINAL.pdf\">USPRA 2010 Conference Presentation SAPT Winarski FINAL<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Self-Assessment Planning Tool for Implementing Recovery-Oriented Services (SAPT) ROSC Version &#8211; January 2018 SAPT- ROSC Adaptation January 2018 &#8211; Winarski (FINAL 3-14-18) The Self-Assessment Planning Tool for Implementing Recovery-Oriented Mental Health Services (SAPT) ROSC Version has been revised to support the Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) Process in the State of Florida.
